Job Description

Our client, a world class contract research corporation, is looking for an Associate Director in Quality Assurance to join their expanding business. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and help shape future policy. They are expected to be an opinion leader and have a voice in the regulatory arena.

You will be required to:

  • Maintain and keep up to date GLP, GCP and any changes in Regulatory Compliance requirements by communicating these changes to management and staff
  • Establish a harmonised CRS\EMEA QA Program in association with the QA Leadership team that provides consistent, efficient use of QA resource whilst meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting in the development, maintenance and delivery of the QA strategic plans
  • Attend external regulatory meetings and seminars in addition to deliver presentations and training sessions to promote the profile of the company
  • Identify and proactively address potential compliance weakness
  • Collation of metrics and trend information of findings appropriately and present findings to management team.
  • Ensure all audit and inspection programs are maintained across the UK sites
  • Maintain budgetary control for all UK sites
  • Direct line management for QA Managers across the UK

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a scientific discipline or equivalent Quality management qualification. You will have substantial experience in auditing GxP studies with significant experience of working in a business/QA environment that is responsible for resource planning and organisation of workload at a senior level. You will have demonstrable experience working directly with customers and representatives from regulatory bodies. You will be a member of a Quality Assurance professional body and have experience in managing high performance teams.
