Job Description

Our client, an expanding environmental testing company, is looking for an Assistant Analyst specialising in Environmental sample preparation and analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within an expanding company and enhance your career in sample analysis.

Key responsibilities of the role include;

  • Preparation of samples by drying, filtration, extraction etc. as required.
  • Perform analysis of environmental samples.
  • Preparation of chemical standards and reagents.
  • Ensure all instrumentation and equipment is maintained and calibration records are up to date.
  • Familiarity with Quality systems and adherence to all company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in a scientific subject with specific experience within an environmental laboratory. You will have experience with sample extraction techniques and be a great communicator. Please note, some travel to client sites may be involved in this role, at short notice and outside of normal working hours to ensure business objects are met.
