Job Description

Our client, a rapidly expanding CRO providing services to the agricultural sector, is looking to appoint Archivist/Document Control Administrator.

Key responsibilities of the role include;

  • Responsibility for the GLP documentation and chemical archives
  • Archiving completed GLP and non-GLP documentation and supporting data
  • Liaising with customers to ensure with contractual arrangements are met
  • Maintain and update the filing systems of the archives
  • Writing and revision of SOPs for archive procedures
  • Responsibility for document control of reports, policies and procedures
  • Acting as the central point of control for all archivist related duties
  • Track the status of progress of reviews and approval of documents
  • Maintenance of the on-line electronic SOP system

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, in either Library Science or a science related discipline. They will be experience in GLP archival and document control functions with strong planning, organisational and attention to detail. They need to be able to work independently to tight deadlines and have good interpersonal skills. IT literate with experience in the use of MS Office is essential.
