Job Description

Our client are a leading assurance provider to a variety of customers across the world. Their business consists of a wide range of laboratories and offices internationally.  They have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and enabling their clients to function as safely and effectively as possible. They are recruiting for a number of Analytical Chemists from junior to senior level within a GMP/GLP environment.

Key responsibilities

  • The role will work as an integral part of the Technical Team within the Laboratory.
  • Carry out routine and non-routine analytical tasks
  • Follow prescribed methods in accordance with the principles of GMP, preparation and analysis of samples using a variety of analytical techniques .
  • Testing a variety of pharmaceutical and healthcare products to client supplied test methods
  • Receive and log in samples for testing when requested
  • Raw data processed and appraised in a timely manner; written up legibly in order that any problems with data are reported to the Team Leader;  full and appropriate entries as per GMP guidance in the required records and systems
  • To be able to follow specified methods with minimal supervision

To be considered...

  • IT literate
  • Academic background in science
  • Strong numeracy skills with knowledge of calculating and tabulating results
  • Clear written and verbal communications skills
  • Familiarity of HPLC systems and procedures relevant to analytical methodologies (GMP), required regulatory standards, research/regulatory procedures and instructions
  • Basic knowledge of the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry 
  • Customer Focused
