Job Description

Our client truly is a world leading scientific organisation with revenues in the billions. They are looking to appoint an account manager within their Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division. Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will be responsible for Product Management and Business Development activities associated with their range of Clinical Biomarkers. These include a range of Endocrinology and Oncology Biomarkers as well as Prenatal Screening assays and instruments.

This role is to cover the North East England Region

The focus of the role will be on:

  • Growing sales of the companies products.
  • Managing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Assisting in getting Market Access of the scientific market with relevant national professional bodies such as NICE, BIVDA, Public Health England and The Fetal Medicine Foundation.
  • Product Life Cycle management, Product positioning and outbound messaging.
  • The achievement of key performance targets around sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with European Marketing Teams to share best practice and customer knowledge.

 

To be considered...

Your experience will include:

  • Proven track record of sales experience in a scientific market
  • Bachelor’s degree in the sciences or equivalent work experience
  • Strong market knowledge and professional network.
  • Experience in conducting seminars and presentations.
  • Commercial mindset, strongly motivated by desire to win new business, with proven relentless pursuit of opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills; ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven commercial excellence working in matrix environment
