Network Scientific and Mental Health Support

Network Scientific are delighted to announce that our Business Consultant, Alison and Office Manager, Jasmin, have both completed their mental health first aid training with MHFA England.

mental health support at work

Mental health first aid courses are designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to be able to identify the signs of mental health problems and to be able to help someone in distress.

It has never been more important to pay attention to mental health at work. Network Scientific has always been committed to providing a supportive and inclusive working environment and strives to ensure that any employee who may be experiencing difficulties is comfortable and able to reach out to discuss these issues without feeling judged in any way. These new skills will ensure we can offer the best possible support and guidance to our employees.

We have also partnered with Steve Phillip at the Jordan Legacy, who is helping us to implement these new skills into the workplace.

The Jordan Legacy’s aim is to create actionable solutions to prevent suicide and make sure that fewer families experience the heart-breaking loss of death by suicide. They help those who feel that life is no longer worth living to find hope for life again.

The Jordan Legacy is our chosen charity for 2022 and we have a number of fundraising activities planned to support them in their incredibly worthwhile mission. Check out what we've done so far!
